The ideal temperature for sleeping is between 16 and 20 degrees Celsius. When temperatures remain above 25 degrees at night, it becomes challenging for your body to enter sleep mode. The heat prevents your body from cooling down by the usual half to one degree, leading to restlessness and difficulty falling asleep.
To help with this cooling process, consider taking a lukewarm shower before bed. While an ice-cold shower might feel refreshing initially, it can be counterproductive in the long run. Cold water constricts blood vessels, making it harder for your body to release stored heat.
