SRCA  draws on the skills of a dedicated full time management team and advisory board with deep-rooted experience in project management and corporate finance advisory for different sectors.

Before founding SRCA in early 2013, Debobrota was in NBL Capital & Equity Management Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of National Bank Limited and worked as Chief Executive Officer. As an eminent Investment Banker, he possesses vast and extensive experience of working in all arenas of investment banking for 16 years. Prior to assuming this SRCA, he served the InvestAsia Capital & Asset Management Ltd as CEO with responsibility  for overall business operations, catering to companies and individuals in the capital and money market for developing existing and new client relationship, focusing on new business development, providing strategic direction and managing risk of the company.

He has diversified experience and have worked in Malaysia Airlines, EnergyPac, Credit Rating Agency of Bangladesh Limited(CRAB), Telephone Systems International (New Jersey, USA), Opex and Sinha Textiles Group and Dhaka Stock Exchange Ltd by holding senior position in home and abroad.

Mr. Sarker holds several prestigious certifications, including the Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA^®), Capital Markets & Securities Analyst (CMSA^®), and Commercial Banking & Credit Analyst (CBCA^®) certifications from the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI), Vancouver, Canada. Additionally, he has earned an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Specialization from CFI. Mr. Sarker also holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting & Information Systems from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Mr. Sarker’s academic excellence is further demonstrated by his exceptional performance in secondary and higher secondary education, where he achieved the 18th position in the combined merit list for the Secondary School Certificate (S.S.C.) and the 3rd position for the Higher Secondary Certificate (H.S.C.).

During the tenure of NBL Capital & Equity Management Ltd as CEO, Debobrota has contributed highest Capital Gain from investment operations of National Bank Limited amounted to  BDT 366.64 Crore in the  financial year-2010.
