He subsequently joined Kamal Textile, a vertically integrated textile enterprise encompassing spinning, knitting, dyeing, and washing operations. During his tenure, Mr. Ahmed deliberately built deep technical expertise by working across multiple functions starting in spinning mills to master yarn production, progressing to the dyeing laboratory to develop proficiency in color formulation, and later transitioning to dyeing production operations. His strong technical command and leadership capabilities led to his advancement to Dyeing Master, followed by promotion to Assistant General Manager (AGM- Dyeing), a role he held for five years.

Mr. Ahmed later served as General Manager at Uttara Knitting and Dyeing Mills Ltd, a sister concern of Uttara Motors, where he led operational, quality, and production management for five years. He subsequently joined Noman Group as Executive Director, serving for nine years with profit-sharing responsibilities reflecting a high level of trust, performance accountability, and strategic involvement.

In parallel with his corporate leadership roles, Mr. Ahmed demonstrated entrepreneurial initiative by founding Knit Garden, a sole proprietorship focused on specialized textile orders. Starting with a small, skilled team and limited infrastructure, he successfully built operational capability and client confidence. Since 2015, he has also been associated with Taipeibangla Fabrics Ltd as Executive Director, contributing to strategic growth and operational excellence. In 2023, he further expanded his entrepreneurial venture by converting Knit Garden into Premier Knit Garden Ltd., a private limited company, integrating manufacturing capability with professional services.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Ahmed has accumulated extensive experience across the textile value chain, including spinning, dyeing laboratory operations, bulk production, quality assurance, factory management, and executive leadership. His employment history includes Adamjee Jute Mills Corporation (3 years), Kamal Textile (9 years across spinning, lab, and production), Uttara Knitting & Dyeing Mills Ltd (5 years), Noman Group (9 years), Taipeibangla Fabrics Ltd (7 years), and Knit Garden / Premier Knit Garden Ltd (11 years).
