Mr. Gazi’s distinguished career spans several leading institutions, including Pubali Bank Ltd and the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission, where he held senior management positions and contributed to policy execution, institutional strengthening, and large-scale operational oversight. He began his professional journey in 1968 as a Probationary Officer at Eastern Mercantile Bank (now Pubali Bank Ltd), laying a strong foundation for a long and impactful career in banking and financial services.

With deep expertise in commercial banking, regulatory engagement, institutional governance, and financial operations, Mr. Gazi has participated in numerous executive development programs and professional trainings both domestically and internationally, including programs conducted in Shanghai, Dubai, New York, and Dhaka. His global exposure and cross-sector experience significantly enhance SRCA’s advisory capabilities, particularly in areas involving banking relationships, regulatory coordination, and strategic execution.

In addition to his banking career, Mr. Gazi has advisory experience in event management and international trade promotion, having organized and supported trade fairs in the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, and Oman. His extensive international travel across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia further strengthens his global business perspective.

Mr. Gazi is also actively engaged in social and civic initiatives. He is a Life Member of the Bangladesh Lions Foundation, the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, and the Zamait-ul-Falah Foundation, Chittagong, and is a member of The Comilla Club.
